Hallo zusammen,

ich habe seit heute eine Technisat Skystar 2 DVB-S Karte in meinem Rechner.
ASUS A8NSLI Premium
AMD Athlon XP 4000+
SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 1900XTX
2GB CORSAIR RAM

Mein Betriebssystem ist Ubuntu 8.04 Hoary Herol
Mein Grafikkartentreiber: fglrx
Ich habe gerade aus den Repositorys mythtv installiert mit
sudo apt-get install mythtv

Wenn ich jetzt in der Konsole mythtv starte kommt folgende Meldung:

Die Mysql und auch sonstige Fehler kann ich selber beheben, dazu gibt es ja reichlich Threads in diesem Forum.

Ich habe ein ganz anderes Problem, das anscheinend nicht viele außer mir haben:

Die Darstellung der GUI ist fehlerhaft; Sie ist 2 Mal nebeneinander
,einmal rechts und einmal links und dafür eben dementsprechend gestaucht.

In einem anderen Thread hier im Forum bin ich auf mythtv-frontent --help aufmerksam geworden und kann damit auch eine saubere Darstellung erreichen, indem ich die Fenstergröße manuell eingebe, z.B. mit
mythtv-frontend --geometry 1024x768

Allerdings funktioniert das auch nicht mit meiner normalen Auflösung (1680x1050) sondern nur eben mit kleineren, sodass die GUI dann nur einen Teil von meinem Monitor ausfüllt.

Dasselbe Problem bei mythtv-setup kann ich leider nicht nach diesem Prinzip lösen.

Bis zu welcher Auflösung funktioniert es denn? Ich fahre hier 1366 x 768 (LCD-TV) problemlos.

Hallo to2,

erstmal danke für deine Antwort. Ich habe es mit 1024x768 ausprobiert, da ging es.
Leider hat es mit vor ca. 2 Stunden mein Board abgeraucht und deshalb bereite ich mich jetzt erstmal auf einen e-mail und Telefonkrieg vor...
Deshalb wird wohl der Thread die nächsten Wochen auf Eis liegen bis ich ein neues Board habe...

Ich melde mich, wenn ich in der Lage bin weiter daran zu basteln:-/
