Dear members,

I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas (slightly late :) eheh) and a happy New Year.

I hope that you will spend a great time with your family and friends during this festive period and may the spirit of Christmas be with you and those you love this holiday season.

btw, 2006 was a test year to see if MythTVtalk.com was going to stay open thanks to donations... I am happy to say that for the first year, we almost broke even! Out of 239.40 USD needed in 2006 to pay for the server, domain, etc. we collected 230.53 USD, which means that we were down only by 10USD... This generosity and the number of members, which keeps growing, make me believe that MythTVtalk.com is useful to the community so I decided to keep the website rolling in 2007 :) (Even if I kind of struggle, from time to time, with all the spammers attacks to find time next to my work to keep the website rolling with the background coding, etc. required :( :oops: )

And finally, I would like to thank again the moderators, which are real cornerstones of the community and help maintain this forum. I also believe that several members should be thanked for all the help they have been providing to the community! Even I cannot thank everybody by mentioning them, I still would like to say a special thank you to beebof, jakep_82, fromans4 and Denver-Ed for all the time they spent helping other members!!!

Thanks again to everyone for this great year we spent together so let's make 2007 an even better year for our community :) :) :)
